Where women in the post-war period wore simple and functional clothing, Dior offered a new, feminine and luxurious aesthetic that remains influential to this day.

The exhibition took me through the evolution of Dior: from the classic designs of Christian Dior himself to the modern interpretations of his successors such as Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano and Maria Grazia Chiuri. Each era brought its own magic, but the core values of Dior remained: femininity, elegance and a refined finish.
I was especially fascinated by the fabrics and silhouettes used. The structures of the blazers, the delicate pleats in the skirts and the luxurious materials such as silk and wool emphasize how important craftsmanship is in fashion. 💎

For example, there was an outfit with the famous quote: "We Should All Be Feminists", a statement that Maria Grazia Chiuri incorporates into her collections to give fashion a broader meaning.
